BlackArch Partners was retained by Transportation Insight to advise on a recapitalization of the Company with a financial partner that could provide significant capital to support an aggressive, acquisition-based growth strategy.
BlackArch professionals ran a targeted process, managing a select group of financial sponsor investors with industry experience and/or the ability to support an aggressive acquisition growth strategy. BlackArch partnered with Transportation Insight’s Founder, Paul Thompson, to market the deal to a handful of the most qualified buyers in a multi-week roadshow process through Charlotte, Boston and New York.
The process resulted in a recapitalization in partnership with Ridgemont Equity Partners, with Transportation Insight’s management team remaining significant shareholders in the Company. Management will continue to lead Transportation Insight’s operations with Ridgemont providing advice and capital to support strategic growth opportunities.
