Ridgemont Equity Partners retained BlackArch Partners to assist on realizing a return on their investment in Aurora Parts and Accessories (“Aurora” or the “Company”) and to find a new partner capable of capitalizing on the industry leadership the Company enjoys.
BlackArch positioned Aurora’s significant growth potential into adjacent product opportunities (including growth of its private banded products) and new markets through expanded distribution centers. Through a broad marketing process that culminated in a handful of parties moving quickly through the process, Ridgemont Equity Partners was given the opportunity to select from multiple attractive offers and select the best partner for management’s future growth opportunities.
Aurora was acquired by Sterling Investment Partners, a middle market private equity firm with broad distribution and automotive aftermarket experience.
